How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Must hold a current Class 1A Security License with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A, current First Aid Certificate and Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
- Participation in a 7 day rotating roster that includes weekends, public and school holidays, including morning, afternoon and night shifts.
- Understanding and willingness to work in a morgue environment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy at a data entry level as well as ability to operate electronic security systems.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to communicate with all levels of staff, as well as patients/clients and members of the public.
- Sound understanding of the application of security techniques including conflict resolution skills, de-escalation and restraint practices.
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to comply with work health and safety principles, including safe manual handling and infection control.
- Demonstrated flexibility in taking directions from supervisors and ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
