  • Flexible work options
  • Professional growth and career development

About the Opportunity

Join us as a Front-End Developer at eHealth NSW and contribute to a statewide digital Solution for NSW Health Procurement and Supply Chain. As part of our innovative Application Development team, you’ll design and deliver responsive, secure, and accessible user interfaces that directly support clinicians, administrators, and patients across NSW.

You'll work on a range of impactful projects - from workforce and vaccination tracking systems to secure procurement portals and remote monitoring tools - using technologies like React.js, TypeScript, and Ant Design.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute across the full lifecycle: coding, testing, troubleshooting, all within a cloud-first, full-stack environment. You'll collaborate with experts across integration, DevOps, and enterprise platforms like Oracle - delivering scalable, high-performing solutions aligned with real-world healthcare needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to end-to-end development and customization of a complex ERP system focused on Supply Chain and Procurement operations.
  • Develop and optimise complex front-end components using JavaScript frameworks.
  • Implement and customize Ant Design components.
  • Build robust, responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces ensuring compliance with organizational security and accessibility standards.

This role is internally referred to as Engineer - ERP.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong experience in front-end development with React.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Ant Design, implementation and customization.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experienced in using Git for version control, including managing branches, handling merge conflicts, and maintaining code integrity across development lifecycles.
  • Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines, Docker, container orchestration, and automated deployment workflows is preferred.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and doesn’t shy away from a challenge to bring value to the team and organisation
