Selection criteria
- Possess or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
- Provide an interventional neuroradiology service consistent within the defined scope of practice for Westmead Hospital.
- Provide a specialist consultation service as required by other senior medical staff.
- Supervise and commit to accurate documentation of medications and ordering of tests.
- Supervision of junior staff, formal handover, communication between clinicians with deteriorating INR patients and meet standard of care.
- Participate in on call roster determined by the Head of Department, Neurosurgery.
- Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence based best practice.
- Demonstrates the skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner.
