- Tertiary qualifications in a health related discipline and subsequent relevant experience in the conduct of clinical research, specifically, clinical trials
- Experience in the design, development and conduct of clinical trials across all phases of the project life-cycle (including start-up) and the management of associated resources
- Experience in the management of performance and professional
- Sound knowledge of ethics and regulatory guidelines governing the conduct of clinical research in an Australian context and their application to ensure ethics and regulatory compliance through appropriate management of risk
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment taking a consultative and collaborative approach
- Demonstrated ability to exercise autonomy and initiative in relation to day-to-day problem solving, communication and decision making
- Excellent orqanisational and communication skills. including the ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
- Strong computer skills and willingness to utilise existing systems for clinical trials management
