- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Experience as a medical officer in a rural hospital, preferably with experience in a rural oncology unit (desirable but not essential).
- 12 months experience as an advanced trainee in medical oncology (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Successfully completed the FRACP written and clinical examinations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Demonstrated experience in research studies and teaching.
- Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience.
