What you'll be doing
The Payroll Accounting Officer provides transactional activities within the customer account team for the delivery of an efficient and effective Payroll Accounting service. Provide high level support to all Payroll Accounting customers, stakeholders and business partners.
- Sound experience in processing employee transactional data in a high volume and complex shared services environment with the ability to prioritise work to meet conflicting client demands and strict deadlines.
- Sound analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret information from different sources to pro-actively identify issues and formulate strategies to address.
- Sound experience in the use of large scale HRIS or similar system and the integration of such systems to other third party applications utilising strong technical, system based and electronic file management skills. Stafflink experience being highly regarded.
- A minimum of intermediate level experience in the use of Microsoft Excel or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal and client engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret NSW Public Hospital Awards and Agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable to change whilst supporting a highly productive, cohesive and professional workplace culture.
