What you'll be doing
Assist with a variety of tasks involved with the day to day clinical operations of the hospital. Assist nursing staff with patient needs including showering, feeding and toileting as required. Provide routine maintenance and maintain the upkeep of the Health Facility grounds.
- Demonstrated aptitude to undertake a wide range of cleaning and maintenance activities associated with buildings and building services including mechanical and handyman skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of general and task specific WH & S requirements and sound knowledge of Infection Control.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a busy and changing work schedule.
- Demonstrated oral, computer and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with people and be sensitive to their needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team and with minimal supervision and be physically fit to perform duties.
- Willingness to undergo further training to improve working skills and knowledge.
