About the Role
Sydney Dental Hospital (SDH) has been serving the local community since 1904. The Hospital is a centre of excellence and throughout its history has been a key driver in shaping oral health and dental care in Australia.
To provide skilled assistance to the Clinician in the rostered clinic within the Oral Health setting to ensure effective and efficient patient care.

Ideal Candidate
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) deemed by NSW Health to be meet requirements.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of work health safety requirements.
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to service performance and accountability in an Oral Health Setting.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
- Demonstrated understanding of the role in applying quality, improvement and safety.
- A demonstrated understanding of NSW Health CORE values- collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.
This is an identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identification as being Aboriginal and being accepted in the community as such. Exemption is claimed under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
