What you'll be doing
The Manager, Workforce Reporting is responsible for the management of an integrated workforce information system for the NSW Health system, including system architecture, data collection and analysis, and reporting.
- Extensive experience and a record of achievement in workforce informatics and reporting in a large diverse service industry organisation, and relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent. This includes expert knowledge and demonstrated experience in managing, manipulating and interrogating large datasets, data analysis, designing reports and providing insightful analysis.
- Superior analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Proven capacity to contribute to and promote strategic workforce initiatives including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage.
- Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with extensive experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in the design, development and production of performance indicators including trend analysis and performance dashboard reporting and analysis.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of IT systems to support workforce informatics, including proficiency using a statistical software package and database applications such as Access and/or SAS.
- Superior knowledge of human resource management systems, including familiarity with NSW Health's Information Exchange (HIE) and knowledge of the Health Services Payroll systems.
