About the role:
As a Rural Multipurpose Service (MPS) Registered Nurse you will work in a supported environment to provide essential healthcare services and support to residents in rural communities throughout Western NSW. 

The role involves working with the multidisciplinary team both face to face and virtually to deliver a range of health care services including aged care, acute care, primary health and community health. 

You will be responsible for assisting with the provision of high quality care and ensuring the wellbeing of patients and residents within the MPS facility.

Where you’ll be working:  
This position will be based at Gulgong Multi Purpose Service.

A modern facility completed in 2014, the Gulgong Multipurpose Service (MPS) provides 24-hour emergency care through a two-bed Emergency Department, four acute inpatient beds and six residential aged care beds.

The site also provides sub-acute/nonacute inpatient services which includes respite and palliative care services, and a range of primary and community health services WNSWLHD Advertise a Job Form Centralised Page 4 of 9 Version: NOV 2019 delivered at the co-located HealthOne service.

The historical gold rush town of Gulgong is located in the central tablelands of NSW, in the heart of the fabulous food and wine region of Gulgong, Mudgee & Rylstone, half an hour from Mudgee and just over an hour to the major regional centre of Dubbo. 

Much of the 19th century character of the town remains still today, Gulgong is home to around 130 National Trust-listed buildings, many complete with their original verandahs and iron-lace balconies. It was also the childhood home of bush poet Henry Lawson. The beautiful Goulburn River National Park is close by which offers lots of opportunity for swimming, fishing, hiking and camping.
