What you will bring to the role
- Extensive administrative knowledge and experience, including reception duties, with effective customer service skills
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in filing and maintaining medical records including understanding of the principles of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, co-ordinate and time manage daily tasks
- Demonstrated extensive experience using Windows based software including patient databases, preferably iPM or similar and experience in using MS Word and Excel and hospital based systems
- Proficient knowledge of relevant Medicare item numbers and processes required for reliable and efficient Medicare billing
