The Nepean Mental Health Centre provides inpatient care for people experiencing acute mental health issues through the short-stay Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC), the Acute Mental Health Unit, Mental Health High Dependency Unit, and Older Persons Mental Health Unit. We support our Patients by linking them to case managers for ongoing treatment and support within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.
On offer is a Permanent Part Time Ward Clerk position working within the Nepean Mental Health Centre. The successful incumbent will carry out all administrative duties associated with ward activity and patient management, medical record management and accurate data entry for all patient ward transactions using the Hospital's PAS.

What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated clerical experience with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and privacy including ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience using window based software including databases and experience in using MS word and Excel with proven typing skills.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to be flexible and adaptable to workplace change.
- Ability to work after hours and on weekends.
