What you'll be doing
This role ensures the provision of a high standard of IT services for WSLHD staff and their patients through leading and improving the delivery of ITS Support Services. It provides governance and rigour to all activities that impact the WSLHD production environments, measuring the performance of delivery regularly.
 
  1. Must demonstrate clear and advanced communication skills (in both written and verbal form), easy to understand and persuasive with an understanding of, and passion for, Customer Service
  2. Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the implementation of and ongoing management of practical service management in a complex environment. Including demonstrated experience in providing detailed training and ongoing guidance to all stakeholders of the ITSM processes, driving an increase in ITSM maturity for the IT organisation
  3. Demonstrated experience in leading IT Service Delivery, including process design, implementation and reporting. ITIL V3 or ITIL 2011 Certification desired
  4. Demonstrated experience in the management of incidents, aligned to an industry recognised Incident Management framework with ITIL V3 or ITIL 2011 certification, with evidence of application of the ITSM framework within the workplace
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to lead, configuration of IT Service Management framework in appropriate ITSM tools
  6. Demonstrated experience in providing the single point of escalation for all Service Incidents during and outside of normal business hours
  7. Demonstrated experience in the management of IT changes, aligned to an industry recognised Change Management framework, including audit compliance reporting
  8. Demonstrated capability to design and implement self-provisioning solutions to improve the end user experience
