SIT Registered Nurse Manager

1. Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2. Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health undertaken with Family Planning NSW and be female. Being female is a genuine occupational qualification for this position as described under Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act. 1977 (NSW).
3. Demonstrated ability to practice in accordance with the Registered Nurse Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
4. Recent clinical experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
5. An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
6. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. Demonstrated ability to negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care and to effectively prioritise and organise workload with high level time management skills.
8. Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes, including occasional overnight stays.
