The Acute Pain Service team is seeking a motivated and confident Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity for a Nurse who is passionate about delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care and who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
This position will see you will play a key role in supporting patients with complex pain needs across surgical, medical and specialty units, whilst working closely with Anaesthetists, Physiotherapists and Ward teams to optimise pain control, enhance recovery, and improve patient outcomes.This is a role where you will educate patients, families, and staff on safe and effective pain management strategies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development. You will bring to curiosity and compassion and will enjoy working autonomously but value being part of a supportive team.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working in an Acute Pain service.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to be work autonomously, organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work Monday to Wednesday with some weekend work according to the unit’s requirements.
