What you'll be doing
This position is responsible for the overall management of the clinical coding section within the Clinical Information Department of Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals.
This position provides support, education and advice on matters in relation to coding, casemix, and Activity Based Funding for internal hospital staff as well as external parties as required.

- Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management or other qualifications deemed equivalent.
- Extensive experience in clinical coding (ICD-10-AM) and activity based funding.
- Understanding of the NSW Admitted Patient Data Collection.
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of computerized hospital systems including patient administration systems (PAS), eMR, 3M Encoder and HIE/EDWARD.
- Experience implementing coding quality activities.
- Current NSW Drivers’ License.
