Social Worker - Redkite
- Degree in Social Work with eligibility for AASW membership, preferably with post graduate experience in social work practice with families and children and/or in health context.
- Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment and counselling of families and a commitment to evidence based practice.
- Understanding of the issues facing children and their families when managing a chronic illness and possessing knowledge of the relevant community support services.
- Demonstrated capacity to build professional and therapeutic relationships with children, young people and family members.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to share after hours and weekend on call duties.
- Competent computer skills and ability to adapt to new IT systems.
