An opportunity to work as a Paramedic at Bateau Bay through PRO2024-027 Mutual Transfer Operating Procedure. ICP, ECP Rescue, SOT and CCP in consolidation are ineligible to apply for Mutual Transfers.

Pre-Screening
A series of pre-screening questions in the application process must be answered. The applicant is responsible for providing all required documents with the correct naming convention for every application submitted. Documents could include:
Documentation (Testamur, Final Academic Transcript or Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement) confirming completion of a Relevant Qualification, e.g. Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Paramedical Science, or Undergraduate Paramedic or Nursing Degree or deemed equivalent by RPL pathway accreditation.
Internal Transfer List Letter or SOP2014-009 Priority Station Lateral Transfer Letter
Eligible Targeted Transfers ONLY – Endorsement letter from the Senior Manager Diversity and Inclusion.

Requisitions
Offers of employment will be made exclusively on the provisions for which the position is advertised in this requisition. This requisition will remain active for three months. If an applicant has not been notified, they are the successful applicant, they will need to reapply if the location is re-advertised.

Employment Conditions:
Employees must meet the essential criteria and conditions of employment for the position as described in the Position Description
Employees accept and agree to the offers of employment is for the position advertised.
Employees must have been appointed for a minimum of six (6) months at their substantive location.
Employees will be appointed under the terms and conditions of the NSW Ambulance Paramedics (State) Award.
Employees will be required to meet credentialing requirements and maintain current registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia (AHPRA registration).
Employees must maintain currency of any licences, certifications, qualification and/or checks required for the position.
Employees must have the ability and intention to commence at the new location.
Employees must not be intending to cease employment with NSW Ambulance.
Employees are required to undertake relief duties at other centres should the need arise.
Employee commits to early AM and late PM commencement times, to perform rotational shift work covering twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
Employees agree to a minimum six (6) month tenure on operational rosters from the date of commencement at that location.
Employees that requested the swap have not create any resourcing or rostering implications at either location. This includes clinical capability differences between the two locations.
Employees appointed may be subject to a conduct and services check.
Employees will not be provided Ambulance accommodation.
Employees may be entitled to Transferred Employees Benefits in accordance with PRO2018-038 Transferred Employees Benefits and Incentives Operating Procedure.
Employees will be required to enter into the annual Performance Development Program.
