Social Worker

2. A Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification, evidence of previous or current clinical experience as a Social Worker or equivalent and approved for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
3. Demonstrated extensive specialist knowledge in the provision of evidence based Social Work Interventions in an inpatient mental health setting and demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and professional development
4. Understanding of the principles of mental health recovery and demonstrated experience and skills using a collaborative, strengths based approach to the care of mental health consumers
5. Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007) and the NSW National Framework for recovery orientated mental health services (2013)
6. Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, and written communication skills including the ability to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families and carers and to effectively communicate and consult with other health, community and welfare professionals and basic computer skills
7. Demonstrated capacity to contribute to the teaching and learning capacity of the team including student supervision and training and quality improvement
8. Holds a Class C drivers licence
