Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA. Applicants must have Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Vascular Surgery with current full Membership of the Australasian Society of Vascular Surgery (ANZSVS). Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 6 months may be considered.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them .
- Evidence of appropriate experience in Vascular Surgery including open vascular, endovascular, vascular access and vascular aspects of renal transplantation. A GSA PFET Certificate in Transplantation is preferable.
- Demonstrated recent vascular surgical experience in a hospital routinely performing renal transplantation
- Experience and interest in teaching and research, as well as a demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team are desirable
