  2. Current Nursing Registration with Australian Professional Health Association and with registration qualifications in Child & Family Health or such education and clinical experience deemed equivalent by employer. Hold current NSW driver’s licence.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of evidence based practice with clinical experience in leading and delivering education sessions using adult learning principles.
  4. Demonstrated continuous quality improvement with the ability to preceptor/mentor/ or clinically supervise others to comprehensively conduct assessments; develop a plan for nursing practice; provide safe, appropriate and responsive quality nursing practice; and evaluates outcomes to inform nursing practice.
  5. Proven ability to provide leadership and to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team; acts as a role model to the organisation’s staff, promoting and supporting the philosophy, objectives, and policies of NSLHD Child and Family Health.
  6. Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal and digital communication skills, advanced computer skills and use of software programs to develop and deliver education.
  7. Demonstrated effective organisational and time management skills, ability to work in a busy environment, handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  8. Demonstrated commitment to own professional development to maintain, improve and broaden knowledge, expertise and competence, capability and develop the personal and professional qualities required using research and evidence based practice reflecting an understanding of contemporary matters.
