Clinical Nurse Specialist Infection Prevention and Control

1. Current authority to practise as a registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience. Post registration qualification in the relevant specialty or acute care specialty demonstrating a high level of clinical nursing knowledge, clinical experience and skill in acute care nursing.
3. Exercises extended autonomy of decision making.
4. Exercises professional knowledge and judgement in providing complex care and ability to function in a multidisciplinary team.
5. Provides leadership in the development of nursing speciality clinical practice and service delivery.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
7. Demonstrated experience in providing education to healthcare workforce. Current NSW Driver Licence.
