Clinical Nurse Specialist – Child and Youth Mental Health Inpatient Unit

1. Division 1 Registered Nurse with post registration qualification relevant to speciality and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of their post graduate qualification
2. Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focused care, clinical governance and quality improvement
3. Evidence of advanced level of knowledge and skill related to management of speciality area
4. Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development.
5. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Applications.
6. Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on service delivery, quality of care and team cohesion.
7. Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster on the unit.
