What you will bring to the role:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent 12 months experience working as a registered nurse) and currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of people presenting with acute mental health disorders
- Demonstrated excellent negotiation skills and verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act and related legislation
- Understanding of recovery oriented care with demonstrated ability to meaningfully collaborate with consumers and their family and carers regarding mental health service provision
- Computer competency including demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of information technology systems used in Health settings
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
