About the role
The Chief Information Officer leads the delivery of Digital Health services for Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD), providing leadership, management and direction to the Digital Health staff, infrastructure and network services. Key accountabilities include:
- Develop and lead the implementation of strategic and business plans for Digital Health services that support Northern NSW LHD’s objectives.
- Facilitate the appropriate governance of the Digital Health services and projects. This includes ensuring that the Northern NSW LHD Digital Health Governance Committee receives appropriate advice and reports relating to strategic Digital Health matters, business plan status, and KPI performance.
- Provide leadership to the Digital Health workforce. This includes supporting the management team to apply workforce management practices aligned with our policies and CORE values, to create a positive workplace culture in our Digital Health services and ensure the efficient and effective function of Digital Health services.
