What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse (RN),
you will be dedicated to providing exceptional care and have the skills to work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. You’ll put your expert relationship-building skills into practice and always demonstrate the core nursing values of patient-centred care, trust and respect in every interaction with patients, carers and colleagues. You‘ll be accountable for establishing and evaluating the patient’s plan of care, in partnership with the patient, their carers and other members of the health care team.
You will be supported in your role as a nurse by all other nursing positions.
- Assessment skills that identify the nursing needs and the application of those needs into a multidisciplinary comprehensive care plan that reflects the goals of the patient.
- Ability to work independently (organisational and time management skills) as well as working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe patient care.
- Ability to communicate accurately and effectively in written, verbal and electronic forms.
- Awareness of the organisation’s values, plus your own values and beliefs surrounding healthcare with an ability to identify and respect an alternative view. You will maintain a professional and respectful manner.
- Awareness of limitations in own knowledge and seek appropriate education and training. You will be reflective in your practice and engaged in feedback.
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient safety, quality and risk and contribution to organisational quality and safety initiatives.
