What you'll be doing
The Analyst and Project Support Officer is a valuable and strategic position within the Governance Unit. It is responsible for ensuring that data and reporting structures and processes are in place to enable the effective monitoring and review of JHFMHN clinical and safety performance and to support the Governance Unit in work in relation to patient safety, policy development, program planning, reporting and service improvement activities.
  1. Tertiary qualifications in health related field or equivalent work experience.
  2. Sound understanding of health service performance governance and reporting systems including performance indicators and clinical audit processes.
  3. Strong background/expertise in the statistical analysis and interpretation of data and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Demonstrated experience in project management and leading change within health settings.
  5. Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with all staff and managers of all levels.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set objectives and targets, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  7. Demonstrated understanding of integrity, responsibility and personal accountability and confidentiality.
  8. Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
