Selection Criteria
- Fluency and literacy in English and relevant community language(s), sign language for Auslan Interpreters.
- NAATI certification and preferably possess Medical Terminology Certificate.
- Possess empathy and the capacity to interpret in a health care setting.
- Demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills as well as conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrate ability to perform under pressure.
- Demonstrate experience in utilising Microsoft office, computers, video conferencing and emails.
- Ability to identify ethical dilemmas and to deal with them in compliance with AUSIT Code of Ethics.
