Prince of Wales Hospital has two Senior Resident Medical Officer positions available for an ASAP start up to 31 January 2027.
About Our Role
Our Senior Resident Medical Officers in Radiology provide support to the Radiology department of Prince of Wales Hospital including service delivery. They act as a liaison between clinical referrers, radiographers and radiologists/trainee radiologists, and assist under supervision in the assessment, scheduling, referral and triage of patients who are referred to Medical Imaging. They learn foundational aspects of radiology, including rotations through general Adult, general Paediatric, and general Interventional Radiology.
Our Primary Location
Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Services is a major teaching hospital and tertiary referral centre based on the Randwick Hospitals Campus. We provide excellent healthcare to SESLHD and specialist health and medical services to NSW. We connect with various universities, including the University of New South Wales, and our premier medical facilities enable leading research and learning opportunities for our staff.

For those fond of coastal living, we are a walk away from Coogee Beach. A short drive takes you to the famous Bondi Beach and Centennial Parklands. Cycling paths and public transport are readily available, with Sydney’s light rail connecting the campus to Sydney’s CBD just 7 kilometres away.
