What you'll be doing
Reporting to the General Manager and based in the Program Management Office (PMO), the Position Holder will evaluate current financial and management practices and partner with external stakeholders to lead change relating to financial and efficiency improvement across NSW Health. This will include providing service-wide recommendations across NSW Health organisations, often with a high degree of autonomy, and will require effective relationship building at the senior executive level.
- Highly developed and contemporary knowledge of political and cross-health service issues and how they impact on the PMO and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial and health system efficiency improvement.
- Provide efficiency improvement leadership on a health service-wide basis.
- High-level communication, facilitation, consensus-building, consultation and negotiation skills.
- Articulate and promote NSW Health's efficiency improvement agenda across all levels within NSW Health.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant business, economics, project management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- The position holder must be committed to ethical practice and demonstrate the capacity to implement and manage CORE values, EEO, the Charter of Principles for a Culturally Diverse Society, and OHS policies and practices.
