What you'll be doing
The Senior Project Officer (Immunisation) is a direct frontline support position responsible for providing high-level policy and program advice to ensure the effective and safe delivery of immunisation programs in NSW.
- Authorised Immuniser and tertiary qualifications/equivalent experience in a health or public policy field.
- Demonstrated excellent written skills as evidenced by the preparation and review of reports, correspondence and written briefings to the Minister and senior executives in the Ministry.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, demonstrated by ability to manage a number of projects concurrently with varying deadlines and workloads in a high pressure, high volume work environment, and capacity to deliver high quality products within agreed timeframes.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to manage effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capacity to identify, analyse and apply research skills to improve program design and delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in project management design, planning, development, implementation and evaluation and the ability to lead the redesign of immunisation service delivery.
- An understanding of health program design, delivery and evaluation.
