What you'll be doing
The position leads the planning, coordination and management of rural medical education business and administration support services. This includes developing, leading, managing and implementing a range of education and training initiatives and related education projects, which may include large and complex projects across NSW Health, to achieve project deliverables and contribute to attainment of HETI objectives in line with HETI Strategic Plan and Performance Agreement deliverables.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and /or equivalent experience and significant experience in managing education and education administration services.
- Demonstrated high level experience in managing training support services for students/trainees to shape a culture of performance and education and training excellence.
- Demonstrated high level experience in designing and developing education programs across a broad spectrum of health education.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and ability to build a strong team and to work as an effective and collaborative senior team member.
- Demonstrated excellence in planning and evaluating program quality improvement and leading quality improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and consultation skills with an ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrate excellent project management, problem solving, analytical, evaluation and reporting skills.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills with applications e.g. Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude for learning other business and information management systems.
