What you'll be doing
This role will lead the provision of a broad range of high level management and administrative services directly to the Far West Local Health District Board and Committees to enable and support effective and efficient leadership and governance of Far West LHD.


  1. Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration and/or successful experience in high level administration, management or secretariat services to Board or Executive level.
  2. Demonstrated experience in providing secretariat services for meetings, including report and agenda preparation, collation and distribution of papers, taking and transcribing minutes and action lists and other reports or documents, as required.
  3. Highly developed and demonstrated sound organisational, analytical and problem- solving skills with the ability to work independently, successfully coordinate tasks and manage competing priorities, to deliver quality outcomes within tight time frames, while using judgement and discretion as needed.
  4. Advanced ICT proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and SharePoint, TRIM, Diligent Boards, intranet / internet.
  5. Demonstration of ability to maintain confidentiality and utilise sound judgement while handling sensitive information.
  6. Demonstrated experience in maintaining priorities while managing conflicting deadlines across multiple committees and projects.
  7. Current Driver's licence and ability to travel and work flexible hours, including overnight stays.
