What you'll be doing
ACI will establish a new Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Clinical Network to support health service provision to clients who have experienced sexual assault, child abuse and neglect, domestic and family violence, and children and young people with harmful sexualised behaviour. The network will bring together clinicians, managers, clients and carers to develop models of care, give guidance to the system and improve service delivery, system capability and client and staff experience relating to VAN service delivery and mainstream responsiveness.
The clinical network manager will establish an executive group and committee structure, a voluntary network membership including clients, managed by a network manager and guided by co-chairs. The network manager will show strong leadership, and will support network projects, working groups and communications on an ongoing basis. Integral to the role will be the immediate support that the VAN network Manager will provide in the change process for VAN redesign ensuring that a robust system/process is established and maintained The network manager will organise events for network members including annual VAN clinical forums to facilitate best practice knowledge sharing and strengthen relationships.

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health-related discipline related to trauma informed care and / or extensive experience in the health system in a policy, planning, or clinical position
- Demonstrated high level leadership and management skills and demonstrated experience in managing complex multifaceted projects, supporting committees and other groups in an environment where there is limited supervision
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated high level written and presentation skills including experience in policy development and research
- Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and experience of word processing, database and spreadsheet computer packages
- Current unrestricted drivers licence and ability to travel across NSW
