• Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with a minimum 5 years full-time equivalent post registration experience and holding relevant post graduate nursing qualification relevant to oncology/haematology speciality.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills related to cancer nursing with extensive recent clinical experience in oncology/haematology, including IV cannulation and administration of drugs used in the treatment of malignancies.
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership within the multidisciplinary cancer care team and other health care providers/support providers.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, organise and prioritise work activity and ability to function within a changing environment.
• Proven high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to learn local computer programmes, including MOSAIQ.
• Evidence of a current Class C drivers licence and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes. This may involve driving long distances with the LHD.
