The opportunity
HealthShare NSW is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Manager to oversee cleaning, linen and waste services across local sites. The role ensures high standards, cost-effective operations and compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and guidelines. Working closely with senior management, the position supports strategic initiatives to manage environmental health risks and promote safe, sustainable services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership aligned with our CORE Values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. They will have extensive experience managing Environmental Services in the health sector, with proven skills in policy development, staff training, stakeholder engagement and problem solving. Eligibility requirements
Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description
Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa
This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines. During application, please upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have
