Selection Criteria
- Graduate Diploma in Mammography (GDM), relevant Environmental Protection Agency NSW (EPA) Radiation Licence and current NSW driver’s license.
- Hold or eligible to hold a Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammopgrahy (CCPM), evidence of active pursuit of and current involvement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Demonstrated understanding of a population based screening program and knowledge of the BreastScreen Australia Program and awareness of the BreastScreen National Accreditation Standards, including experience working within a Radiology Information System (RIS)/Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) environment.
- Demonstrated experience and effective communication through the use of information technology and sound negotiation, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of mammography, mammographic and technical quality control procedures, imaging services, comprehensive understanding or willingness to learn the BreastScreen Information System (BIS).
- Must be female (exemption is claimed under Section 31 (2)(h) of the Anti-discrimination Act).
- Demonstrated experience in working both in an unsupervised capacity and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Willingness to work flexible hours (including early mornings, evenings, Saturdays, overtime) and travel to a variety of locations both fixed and mobile across NSW.
