What you'll be doing
As an Allied Health Mental Health Clinician, you’ll deliver compassionate, person-centred care to individuals living with chronic and persistent mental illness. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support consumers in achieving recovery goals through comprehensive assessments, interventions, and coordinated care planning.
Provide recovery-oriented mental health services and support for consumers with complex psychosocial needs
Collaborate with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual care plans
Deliver evidence-based assessments, interventions, and crisis triage in collaboration with community partners
Advocate for consumer rights and promote empowerment and social inclusion
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development projects

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
Registration: Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist OR for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
