Fluency and literacy in English and relevant community language(s), sign language for Auslan Interpreters.
NAATI certification (NAATI Certified) and preferably possess Medical Terminology Certificate.
Possess empathy and the capacity to interpret in a health care setting.
Demonstrate high level interpersonal and communication skills as well as conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrate ability to perform under pressure.
Demonstrate experience in utilising Microsoft office, computers, video conferencing and emails.
Ability to identify ethical dilemmas and to deal with them in compliance with AUSIT Code of Ethics.
