About the Opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) within Leeton Aged Care unit, you’ll play a key role in shaping the skills, confidence, and success of the nursing team. You’ll lead the way in education and professional development, delivering engaging, evidence-based programs that empower staff to provide the highest quality of aged care.

Your leadership and mentoring will help ensure that residents receive safe, compassionate, and person-centred support every day.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care aligned with professional standards and legislation.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and wellbeing.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety, learning, and professional growth.
  • To coordinate and manage mandatory education, provide ongoing clinical support and education to nursing staff and students, and assess nursing clinical competencies.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Relevant clinical experience, of more than 2 years in aged care.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly, to changing clinical priorities, working alongside a dedicated team of nursing staff.
  • Work effectively in a rapidly changing healthcare environment, adapt to evolving models of care and evidence-based practice, and support the development of early-career nurses and current workforce.
