What you'll be doing
The Senior Recruitment Officer (SRO) is a central point of contact for HNELHD hiring managers and Recruitment Officers, facilitating a partnership relationship where all work closely together to deliver a range of candidate and client-focused, proactive, end to end recruitment activities and services in a timely manner, and in keeping with relevant legislation and policies.
The Senior Recruitment Officer (SRO) is responsible for supervising the day to day activities of the Recruitment Officers, as well as providing support to the Recruitment Managers. The position is a key point of contact for Recruitment staff, assisting in the orientation, training and ongoing professional development of internal staff, as well as liaising regularly with a range of other internal and external stakeholders such as HNELHD Workforce and HR units, HealthShare NSW, hiring managers, and candidates.
 
  1. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or other related field (marketing, communications, business) and/or experience working in a recruitment related role with a sound knowledge of recruitment methods, talent sourcing strategies and HR transactional processes and/or substantial relevant administrative experience.
  2. Extensive experience working in a Recruitment or Transactional environment for a large complex organisation, or in a similar position working with an e- recruitment system or Human Resources Information System (HRIS), or a combination of experience deemed equivalent.
  3. Demonstrated commitment to providing a high level of customer service including the ability to liaise effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
  4. Demonstrated capacity to work in a high volume and demanding environment to meet strict deadlines while constantly looking at ways to improve service delivery.
  5. Demonstrated capacity to understand and interpret Health Industry Awards and Agreements.
  6. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders/ customers in providing accurate advice and support using the relevant systems.
  7. Proven ability to supervise, coach, and experience with training and developing of the Recruitment Team.
  8. Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
