- Remuneration: $37.48 to $52.62 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Calvary Mater Newcastle Operating Theatres are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our surgical patients. We are seeking a nurse with experience in Anaesthetics, Scrub/Scout, and/or Recovery to contribute to our supportive perioperative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continuously assesses/monitors patients’ condition.
- Identifies and implements discharge-planning requirements.
- Performs comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients.
- Able to plan appropriate care in consultation with patient and multidisciplinary team.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Recent demonstrated experience in a perioperative role.
- Relevant post registration qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated initiative and the desire to continually improve patient care.
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
