What you'll be doing
Coordinate clinical services and communication processes to ensure that every patient on the unit receives the best possible care every single time.
The role and responsibilities of the NUM includes the day to day clinical operational management and governance within the operating suites, ensuring quality patient care delivery.

- Relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management, or willingness to undertake same.
- Demonstrated ability to apply and share professional expertise in operating theatre to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to build a cohesive service focused team through coaching, mentoring and guiding team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and overcome resistance when initiating and implementing change strategies within a team.
- Demonstrated focus on Service Excellence, evidenced by the ability to plan for and act on issues quickly, decisively, and effectively.
- Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills necessary for resolving service delivery and workplace issues and mentoring team members in conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to maximise the allocation and utilisation of resources to achieve service delivery outcomes through a broad range of strategies.
