What you'll be doing
Provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for the patient/resident, under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct nursing practice in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of and ability to work within a person-centered approach to nursing with a willingness to embrace change in the delivery of care.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and evidence-based practice with recent clinical experience relevant to the position
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to understand their needs, enhance service delivery and act on situations when the norm is to wait for a situation to resolve itself.
- Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner.
